5.8 Magnitude Earthquake Tremors Shake Delhi, North India, and Pakistan

On Wednesday, mild tremors were felt across Delhi, the National Capital Region (NCR), and most parts of North India after a 5.8 magnitude earthquake struck Pakistan. The quake's epicenter was located near Dera Ghazi Khan in Pakistan's southwestern Punjab province, at a depth of 10 kilometers. The tremors were also experienced in major Pakistani cities like Islamabad, Lahore, and Peshawar.

In India, regions including Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab, and Jammu and Kashmir reported noticeable tremors. Afghanistan was also affected by the seismic activity.

The earthquake sent ripples across both countries, with netizens sharing their experiences of the tremors in cities such as New Delhi, Lahore, and Islamabad. This natural event has raised concerns about potential aftershocks in the affected regions.
